Service Contracts

Clayton offers two programs for service contracts, the Preventative Maintenance Program (PMP), which is generally preferred by commercial customers, and the Residential Energy Savings Agreement (RESA), which is generally preferred by residential customers.

Preventative Maintenance Program (PMP)

We have designed a PMP to eliminate costly repair and minimize needless energy consumption. Major repairs on HVAC equipment can be very costly. The PMP is designed to continually moderate the equipment to preven these major breakdowns and at the same time, save you dollars by having the equipment operate at its highest efficiency and lengthen the life expectancy of the machinery. Protect your capital investment by preventing the causes of premature equipment failure and maximize your equipment depreciation.

Through the PMP, Clayton provides periodic, regularly scheduled comprehensive equipment inspections and operational checkout. The program includes:

  • Filter Cleaning or Replacement
  • 10% Discount on repair parts
  • Priority emergency service
  • Adjustments and lubrication as required

Clayton will assign each piece of equipment a dedicated service booklet which will be kept on file. This booklet will accompany the service technician during each monthly visit. The PMP checklist contains a list of items to be maintained, and allows the technician to record notes regarding each visit. At the end of the contract year the PMP checklist will be given to the owner for her/his records.

Residential Energy Savings Agreement (RESA)

Designed for the residential customer, the RESA provides peace of mind regarding their heating and air conditioning systems. For a nominal annual fee you will receive:

  • 1 Complete 15-point inspection of the heating system, burner cleaning, and adjustment of your heating system to ensure maximum safety and economy (done once per year before the heating season)
  • 1 Complete 15-point check of the air conditioning system (done once per year before the cooling season)
  • Preferred treatment on any required service calls
  • 10% Discount on repair parts

Should you choose not to invest in a service maintenance program as described above, Clayton’s team of top-notch service professionals are still at your disposal through our regular service call program. Simply place a phone call to our office and one of our technicians will be dispatched to your location as soon as possible. We offer:

  • 24/7 service on heating systems
  • 24/7 service on cooling systems (for medical emergencies)
